Easy Sourdough Baguettes

with a classic, crunchy sourdough crust and a light and airy, chewy interior.

They are made with the most simple ingredients - Flour, water and salt.  You'll need an active sourdough starter. The timings of these baguettes can be fitted around your schedule.

Mix together the flour, water, salt and starter. Stretch and fold it, then let it proof until it shows signs of fermentation.

Pre-shape the dough into balls and let them sit on a floured bench until the pass the poke test.

Then it's time to bake in a hot oven, along with water or ice cubes to help create steam. Delicious sourdough baguettes!
